Heat wave impacting all five boroughs hit New York City starting 6/26/21, with temperatures sustained in the high 80s and 90s over the course of six days. The highest temperature was 96 degrees, recorded by the NWS was on 6/30, but high humidity caused the temperature to feel to be even higher.
