Event Summary

A severe thunderstorm moved from the Bronx across Queens county and into Nassau County during the late evening hours. Trees and power lines were downed in the Bronx and Queens. As it passed over Nassau County the storm produced hail ranging in size from a dime to a quarter at Bethpage.
