Intense line of severe thunderstorms. Wind gusts of 60 to 80 mph. Downed trees and power lines. Hailstones of 1.50 inches. On Staten Island high winds downed trees, causing a building to collapse. A tree fell on three people in the Bronx, resulting in 1 fatality and two injuries. Two injuries in Brooklyn—one caused by downed tree and one by hailstones.
