Severe thunderstorms moved across Southeast New York ahead of a cold front the morning of March 5th. A 58 mph wind gust was measured in Jamaica, Queens. A wind gust of 53 knots was measured at the JFK ASOS. Large trees and wires down near corner of 107th Street and 37th Drive in Corona.
